ONE of their youngest students, Sydné, aged 8, represented Midsomer Norton TAGB Tae Kwon-Do with great success at the National Championships in Scotland earlier this month.
Sydné displayed tremendous skill and determination, winning first place in the pattern division, becoming the Scottish champion in her category. She also fought bravely in the sparring division, securing second place after a close and exciting match.
Her dedication and hard work week after week led to this impressive achievement, and the local club are exceptionally proud of her willingness to continually improve and challenge herself.
Sydné’s achievements reflect her incredible talent, as well as the supportive and positive environment fostered by the club. The club could not be prouder of her success and growth. For anyone interested in joining a friendly and supportive club, Midsomer Norton TAGB Tae Kwon-Do, contact Ms. Fober on 07983 104286 or email [email protected].
Whether you’re looking to improve fitness, learn new skills, or simply have fun, it is a welcoming club for everyone.
*Tae Kwon-Do is a martial art based on strikes (instead of grapples), where you learn punching techniques but focus on kicking techniques. During a taekwondo lesson, poomse (form, imaginary combat against one or more adversaries) and combat against a partner help develop your techniques.
