Cinderford dominated the first half but Paulton went in 3–1 ahead.
The visitors took a first minute lead as striker, Leighton Thomas, was fouled and he took the penalty himself to give his side the lead.
Rovers’ keeper, Aaron Sainsbury, pulled off a
series of saves from Owen Taylor and the impressive Camden Duncan.
Cinderford levelled after 25 minutes as Ben Brooks found Sammie Hicks who fired home.
Five minutes later the home keeper, Nick Jones, was sent off for taking out Dan Cottle just outside the area.
Hicks went in goal and made several comfortable saves, however Paulton went ahead on 33 minutes as Ed Butcher broke down the left and found Thomas to notch his second.
Duncan saw his drive tipped over by Sainsbury and on time added on, Rovers made it 3–1 as Butcher’s low cross was turned home by George Fowler.
A scrappy restart saw Fowler combine with Butcher then Sainsbury turned a curling shot from Taylor for a corner saved smartly from Duncan.
Paulton went 4–1 up on 72 minutes as Thomas broke down the left. He found Cottle who laid the ball into Jake Sloggett’s path and the winger made no mistake from close range.
In time added on Luke Spurrier’s cross found substitute, Jack Freeman, who stroked the ball home for Cinderford.
