There were some very good performances from lower League teams this week; the two most noticeable were Frome Collegians Res going to Pilton First Team and winning 10-6 – getting the goals were Josh Campbell (5), Jimmy Barns (2), Chris Bird, and an own-goal.

The other was Peasedown Albion Reserves beating Premier League team, Victoria Street, at home, 3–2.

Mendip Rangers suffered their first loss of the season at home to Westfield Reserves, 3–0. Amongst the goals for the visitors were Tom Lakeman (2) and Ross Baber. Stoke, at home, had goal scorers, Lee Tadd and Chris Brimble, to thank, but they could not prevent Bath Villa going through to the next round, replying with three goals.

Westhill Sports encountered a very hard game against Westfield A, going in at half-time 1–0 up, and after missing several chances at the start of the second half, they went further ahead, making it 2–0. But the Westfield team came back; Robbie Sawyer out-paced the home defenders to make it 2–1, and that’s how it ended.

The young Chilcompton A team found Peasedown Albion First Team far too strong for them, losing 7–2 at home. Purnell Sports Reserves won away at Chilcompton United, 6–0, and Evercreech got through at Somer Valley, 2–1.

In the Premier League, Coleford scored four without reply away to Radstock A. In the First Division, Chilcompton Reserves had a very good day, putting six past Chew Magna Reserves. Scoring for them were Jake Ingram (2) and Alex Short, Harry McClarran and Dan Nolan. High Littleton won 2–1 at home to Wells A – scorers Lee Howell and Ben Rutter.

The Second Division saw Belrose, with goals from Charlie Moon (2) and Max Culpin, beat Westhill Sports Reserves, 3–1. Coleford Reserves scored five without reply at home against Glastonbury Reserves. Timsbury A lost 3–1 to a strong Wessex team, the goals for the visitors from Dan Linham (2) and Lee Gooding, who are a real force upfront for Wessex. Weston Bath at home beat Farrington Gurney, 5–1.

In the Third Division, Charlton at last got things together. After playing the previous two weeks with only nine players, they went on their longest journey to Bath and beat Old Crown Reds 6–4; getting the goals for them were Alun Vulu (2), David Bates, Darren Lee and Chris David. Peasedown Albion A team beat Evercreech Res 5-3; amongst the goals were Sam Carey (2) Mark Gould (2) and Connor Lydiard.
