WELTON Rovers are still without a victory in the Premier Division of the Jewson Western Football League after losing a md-week game to Portishead Town.
They went down 6-0 - their 22nd defeat in succession which leaves them 13 points adrift at the bottom of the table with a goals deficit of 97.
However, it was Portishead’s 12th win in 18 matches and they moved to within four points of leaders Brixham AFC.
Shepton Mallet were also in action on the same night, losing a penalty shootout 6-5 at home to Oldand Athletic in the Les Phillips Cup after the sides had fought out a 2-2 draw.
