THERE was an excellent turn out for Wells Golf Club’s 4BBB Open which was held in favourable conditions.

The scoring was high.  Overall winners were Alan Mannings and Ian Allwood, Wells GC with 46pts.  David Cunningham & Nick Gumm were 2nd with 45pts on countback from Arron Wickham & Dean Lewer and Mike Rogers & Mike Hillier. 

The first visitors team on countback were Rob Pearce & Tony Bumstead, West Wilts 44pts, second Darren Bailey & Stefan Wells, Ordnance Survey and third, Paul Sheridan & Andrew Kerr, Bassett Down..

A substantial number of ladies entered.  The best were Polly Clark (Wells) & Dawn Chadwick (Weston-s-Mare GC) 43pts.
