PAULTON Rovers and Welton Rovers both have home games in the Premier Division of the Jewson Western Football League this coming weekend.

Paulton, who gained an impressive 3-0 home win over Torridgeside in the second qualifying round of the FA Vase last weekend, entertain Ivybridge Town (kick off 3p.m.).

The Cornish side are lying tenth in the table, only one place above their rivals, with both sides having played ten matches, won five, drawn one and lost four. It promises to be a close match.

Welton, who were due to play at home to Nailsea & Tickenham last night (Tues, Sept 24), are set to play at home to Buckland Athletic who are lying sixth and scored seven goals against shell-shocked Paulton earlier this month.

Welton went into last night's game still without a point in the league and three points adrift at the bottom of the table with a goals deficit of -53.

Highflyers Clevedon Town, who were due to play at home to Bridgwater United last night, have no league fixture this coming weekend while rivals Street are away to lowly Torpoint Athletic.

Portishead, who have also made a good start to their season in the Premier Division, are due to play away to Brixham on Saturday.
