Conditions were described as good to firm, but perfectly race-able by the jockeys.

Switch Hitter recorded his third success this season, being ridden by Olive Nicholls to record an easy victory in the ‘Killens’ Ladies Open race.
The ‘Morris and Perry’ Mens Open race was contested between the two runners of Cornish Warrior and Walk in the Wild, who set off together and remained matching strides until Will Biddick set off from third to last and soon asserted himself over his rival.
James Drummond recorded a double on successive days at different courses, using horses that he bought at Ston Easton in recent years.
Will Biddick recorded the final leg of his treble when partnering Far Out West, a six-year-old mare he trains himself, to win the ‘R M Penny’ Open Maiden race.
There followed three hotly contested pony races, including a win for Chloe Fox Pitt, daughter of international eventer William Fox Pitt, in the 138cm race.
