THE Mendip Golf Club Junior Open attracted 34 youngsters, which was the best entry for some time.

Mendip Juniors gave a good account of themselves against some very talented young players with Alexander Leonard coming second in Div 1 with a score of 38 points, one ahead of Lewis Wickham.

Alec Roberts, with a score of 39 points, was 3rd in Div 2 and the overall winner with 41 points was another Mendip player Tate Sinfield-Day, who played exceptionally well on the day to win a competition which attracted strong competition.
