MENDIP Golf Club Seniors beat Bristol & Clifton 4-2 with wins from Gary Quin/Rob Richardson, Steve Davis/Kevin Carmody, John Scott/Colin Davies and Martyn Russell/Andy Griffiths. Seventy-five Seniors played in harsh conditions for the Ollie Parfitt Trophy. Div 1 was won by Simon Wynn with 73, on count back from Nick Parfitt (2nd) and Jim Boyd (3rd). Div 2 went to Paul Godwin (68), Phil Butcher (70) was 2nd and Tony Scott (72) 3rd.

Div 3 was won by Chris Giles with 74, John Treeby (75) was 2nd and Noel McRoberts (77) was 3rd after countback. The overall trophy winner was Andy Parfitt with an excellent 66.
