MENDIP Golf Club Seniors visited Bridport, a new addition to the Seniors fixture list, but found the home team too strong, with a solitary win coming from Gary Quin/Ian Whittamore.

They then visited Bath and after a very close tussle lost 2½-3½. Wins for Mendip from Nick Inskip/Ken Langridge and Roland Greenway/Andy Humphries and a half from Steve Davis/Simon Atkinson.

Thirty-six pairs played in the Seniors Invitation Day. The winners were Mike Merrick and Guest with 44, Nick Carter and Guest were 2nd with 43 after count back from David Peel and Guest.
