MIDSOMER Norton will be looking to bounce back after their surprise defeat by bottom side Taunton Deane when they play away to Golden Hill on Saturday, August 10.
Midsomer Norton were bowled out for only 95 by the Deane and collected only five points. Fortunately, leaders Downend also lost - to Keynsham but picked up four more points to stretch their lead over their nearest rivals.
Golden Hill are lying third in the table, only 13 points behind Midsomer Norton, both sides having played the same number of games. There are only four more league matches to be played.
Downend have a 21-point lead over Midsomer Norton. At the other end of the table Taunton Deane are still facing relegation, but their win last Saturday means they could avoid going down, although they are still 31 points adrift of the next placed side.
Wellington are second from bottom, while Ilminster, Weston super Mare and Keynsham could still go down.
One of the top matches in the division on Saturday is the clash between Clevedon, in fifth spot, and Congresbury who are lying fourth in the table, with both sides still in with a chance of promotion. Downend play at Wellington who are finding it tough going since being promoted.
