A TEAM OF eight from Midsomer Norton TAGB Tae Kwon-Do travelled to Worcester to compete in the English Championships, featuring more than 1000 competitors. It was an exciting event which showcased the talent, dedication, and sportsmanship of martial artists.

Local competitors brought home some amazing results: Lucy Barr – Bronze in Individual Patterns; Henry Smith – Silver in Team Sparring; Sydne Bell – Gold in Individual Sparring, Bronze in TAG Team Sparring; Stu Bell – Silver in Individual Sparring, Silver in TAG Team Sparring; Matteo Dan – Bronze in TAG Team Sparring; Victoria Smith – Silver in TAG Team Sparring; Holly Lane – Bronze in Individual Sparring

A special mention also goes to Vikki, who pushed her limits throughout the day, cheered on her teammates, and gained invaluable experience.

It was inspiring to see students of all ages and backgrounds come together, demonstrating the skills they have honed and their passion for martial arts. The event reminded everyone that competitions are not just about winning medals but about the growth and development of each individual, both mentally and physically.
