Midsomer Norton TAGB Tae Kwon-Do student Sydné Bell is celebrating after winning not one but four medals at recent competition.
Sydné, who is only eight years old, trains with TAGB Tae Kwon-Do based on Norton Hill School Sports Centre, competed at the North Midlands on July 14 in showcase of skills and determination.
Despite the fierce competition, she emerged with well deserved gold medal in Individual Patterns, gold medal in Individual Sparring, bronze in Team Patterns and bronze in Fly Kick, a testament to her adaptability and determination to excel in multiple disciplines.
Ms Edyta Fober, 2nd Dan Instructor, said: “We are very proud of Sydné as it’s not easy to compete not knowing who your opponents are going to be. Performing in front of judges, other competitions and spectator crowds! Her hard work, dedication and determination truly paid off. Well done, we are proud of you.
“Her commitment to her craft serves as inspiration to both her peers and those who follow her journey. She’s a shining example of what can be accomplished through dedication and determination. She is an absolute star , but so humble with it. She is such a positive and upbeat student, and her general attitude and ambition shines through at the club too - she is always on task. We’re supporting her and cheering Sydné, on every step of the way.”
