PAULTON Rovers will be chasing £2,250 in prizemoney when they play away to Gloucester City in the first qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday, August 31.

They go into the tie having already won twice in the competition, beating Bashley 2-1 at home and Hamworthy Athletic 2-1 away.

Paulton have also been showing good form in the Premier Division of the Jewson Western League. They are lying eighth, having won four and lost two of their six matches.

They beat Shepton Mallet 3-2 at home in mid-week and were 4-2 winners against visiting Wellington last Saturday.
