MIDSOMER Norton stretched their lead at the top of Counties Two Somerset to 13 points with an 83-26 away win over second from bottom Wells.
In the only other match played in the division, Avon gained a 39-24 home victory over Minehead Barbarians to avenge a defeat by the seasiders earlier this season.
Clevedon, who did not play, still stay second but Avon, who are third, are now only one point behind their rivals, both sides having played the same number of games.
Minehead moved up to fourth after gaining a bonus point in their loss against Avon.
