SHEPTON Mallet Reserves have won the first division in the Mid-Somerset Football League, which is sponsored by Trophies of Radstock.

They have played 12 league matches and have won them all - and have a goal-plus difference of 62.

Farrington Gurney have struggled for most of the season and are currently bottom of the table with only three victories from their 13 outings.

Shepton have also added another cup to their trophy cabinet recently, by beating Evercreech Rovers 3-0 to win the Tony Baxter Shield in what is proving to be a very successful season.
