TEE yourself up for a great day’s golfing fun, with the opportunity to win £5,000 for a par three hole in one, while you raise funds for community service. Let’s not forget the raffle prizes too.

The Rotary Club of Midsomer Norton and Radstock will be holding their seventh annual Golf Day at the Wells Golf Club on Friday, the 20th of September.

Started by Rotarian Rob Porter back in 2015 the tournament was forced to rest for a few years during covid and beyond. Each year the presiding president has chosen a charity to benefit alongside the local Rotary charities. To date the event has raised more than £20,000, which has all gone to worthy charities and our local community projects.

This year we will be supporting Different Strokes, a charity run by younger stroke survivors for younger stroke survivors.

Local businesses generously sponsor each hole on the course and our headline sponsor, Ian Hobbs Technical Services, also insures for the Hole-in-one prize on the par 3 holes and there is a Pimm’s tent.

Teams of four players, men, ladies or mixed, play 18 holes Stableford format of full handicap.
