CHEW Valley are still without a rugby victory in Regional One South West after they suffered a heartbreaking 28-27 home loss against Lydney.
It means they remain bottom of the table, having lost all nine of their league matches played so far this season. They are six points adrift of the next placed side Ivybridge.
It was Lydney’s fifth win in nine league fixtures and they are now up to fifth in the table, 13 pointts behind leaders Exmouth who have lost only once.
Valley have no match this coming Saturday, November 23, but play away to Matson the following Saturday. Matson are lyling tenth.
