An accidental ignition is thought to be the cause of the fire that erupted in the Haydon Industrial Estate.
The fire was reported to Avon Fire and Rescue Service shortly after 3pm on Friday March 21, with multiple crews from around the area, such as those in Radstock, Paulton and Bath were in attendance. Other emergency services were also on the scene.

“On arrival, firefighters found a fire affecting an industrial unit and multiple vehicles. Crews used high pressure hose reels, covering jets and a turntable ladder as a water tower to extinguish the flames.
“All persons were safely evacuated. One casualty was conveyed to hospital. Our ambulance and police colleagues were also in attendance.
