The St Peter’s Parochial Church Council have put together an exciting programme of events and services that will brighten up those winter days and nights, with one event for Easter in 2024.
On the 18th November, between 10am and 2pm, we have a Church Open Day and Gift Day. This is your Parish Church, people of Westfield; so do come along and see us. There will be refreshments in the Church Hall and we will also be showing some old film footage of past events held at the Church (you just might see yourself or someone you knew and loved).
Sunday, 17th December we have our Christingle Service at 4pm. This service is for all ages and not just the children. Everyone gets a Christingle to take away, what more incentive do you need to come along to a beautiful family service. Between 5pm and 6pm we will have refreshments in the Church Hall, with a special treat of cakes and biscuits for the children to decorate and ice. At 7pm that evening we will be holding our traditional Carol Service – a time to reflect on the Christmas message but also to sing out loud to some of the carols we all know and love. Everyone throughout the Parish and beyond is welcome to stay for the whole of the afternoon and evening and make a fun day of a cold, dark winter Sunday.
More about our Christmas Service Programme and our events for 2024 later.
Why not cut out this piece and pin it up on that notice board in your kitchen. You wouldn’t want to miss out on these events.
