We have a confession to make . . . for some reason, we couldn’t find the
location of last week’s photograph in our archive and thought it was taken somewhere else! We’ve since had confirmation from the Museum that it was taken in 1920 at Holcombe and was the old Post Office. Apologies to anyone who did contact us with the correct answer – we think there may have been one or two!
If you think you know where this week’s Mystery Photograph was taken and would like a mention, email: [email protected] A big thank you to Radstock Museum, as ever, for their support.
The Museum will not reopen fully from the beginning of July as previously announced. Following the recent announcement on restrictions remaining in place until the end of July, Museum Trustees have made the decision to continue with the current three day opening until further notice: Wednesdays 2 pm – 5 pm, Saturdays 11 am – 5 pm and Sundays 2 pm – 5 pm. The Museum shop will be open but the tearoom will remain closed. It is hoped that the museum will resume normal opening from the beginning of August. There is free entry to the museum in June, July and August. Please check the website or Facebook page for updates.
