Hundreds of people gathered at a venue in Frome amid rumours of Coldplay's secret pre-Glastonbury show.

Fans queued outside the Cheese and Grain hoping for a glimpse - or even a listen.

With Paul McCartney and the Foo Fighters having previously performed legendary shows at the Cheese and Grain, fans anticipated the next surprise act during the Glastonbury season.

The buzz around Coldplay's potential surprise appearance intensified throughout the day, drawing more fans from around the area. No official confirmation of the band's impromptu set emerged despite the speculation.

The venue implemented security measures including closing off the car park with gates and security did surround the building.

Coldplay is currently rehearsing at the venue in preparation for their headline performance at Glastonbury, but the venue remains closed to the public.
