Money has been raised to help purchase new equipment for a local school in the Chew Valley.
The Pensford Publow and the Stantons Community Trust (PPSCT) 100 Club, along with Chelwood Community Fund, have given a sum of £4,539 to purchase new playground equipment for Pensford Primary School.
£2,500 was also raised by the school’s Parent Teacher Association.
The PPSCT 100 Club also helped fund a display of colourful ceramics created by a club at the school that is run by the owner of Jonquil Ceramics.
