The Somer Valley Singers entertained at last week’s Chilcompton Golden Hour meeting with a varied programme, including music from Mozart, Andrew Lloyd Webber and The Carpenters.

Conductor Daniel Cushing also accompanied the choir and performed two piano solos. ‘African Alleluia’ was a surprise and ‘Amazing Grace’ was rousing; everyone joined in the National Anthem at the end following the recent Coronation of King Charles.

The choir was thanked for a delightful evening.
