Trio Paradis’ April Café Concert at St John’s Church, Midsomer Norton, is on Monday, 3rd April at 1pm and is a family concert, with children especially welcome.
The theme is The Sea, and there will be plenty of musical variety, with classical, folk and jazz styles.
The concert lasts c45mins and entrance is free with a pay-what-you-feel donation invited. Refreshments - tea, coffee and Rosemary’s delicious homemade cakes - are on sale half an hour or so before the concert.
There’s no need to book - just turn up - but it’s best to arrive early for choice of best seat, as Café Concerts are very popular. You might like to bring a cushion for the pew!
Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Lisa Betteridge - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) have played Café Concerts on the first Friday lunchtime of every month at the Town Hall since 2012, and now at St John’s Church while the hall is undergoing refurbishment.
April’s concert has been moved to the first Monday to avoid a clash with the Good Friday service at St John’s.
