A POPULAR festival in Peasedown St John has won big backing from a local housing provider.
Bath and North East Somerset’s biggest provider of social housing has come on board as a major sponsor of this summer’s Peasedown St John Party in the Park festival.
Curo, which manages 13,000 properties across the South West of England, has signed up to become one of the festival’s Golden Sponsors.
Party in the Park festival managers, Karen Walker and Gavin Heathcote, said: “Party in the Park is a fantastic way for people to get together, make connections and have some fun, and so we’re excited that Curo is supporting the event once again.”
Party in the Park 2023 officially starts at 11.30am on Saturday 10th June on Beacon Field - with festivities running until 7pm.
Attractions include Zoe Edward’s Burger and Donuts; Royal Sweet Stall; The Red Post Inn Bar; Dan’s Ice Creams; Royal British Legion; Truespeed Campervan; Chinese Street Food; Mercedes Coffee Van; Somer Valley Butchers, Horse Box Gin and Prosecco; Wiltshire Air Ambulance; Bath Cats & Dogs; Avon Fire & Rescue; Vegan Dog Treats; Flower Stall; Fabric Love Bath; Ted’s Plants; Appleton Nutrition; and Montania Handmade Design.
“Curo’s support means we can put on a festival this summer that will be one to remember!”, added Karen and Gavin. “We rely heavily on the support of our sponsors to ensure we can cover all of our costs. The finances we need to pay for insurance, equipment and to advertise aren’t cheap, so we’re extremely grateful to Curo. Without them, we would struggle to host this year’s party.”
The event features live music and entertainment – with Radio Bath and Reaper Events, the Community Civic Award presentation, The Red Post Beer Tent and a huge range of stalls and attractions.
