The High Sheriff of Somerset, Rob Beckley QPM, attended Swallow Charity’s AGM on Wednesday, March 5.

The event was held at Mardons Social Club, in Midsomer Norton, where SWALLOW members, trustees, staff and supporters gathered to hear feedback on what the charity has been up to and plans for the future.

More than 60 people attended the event and enjoyed a buffet provided by the SWALLOW café team followed by a friendly game of skittles.

The High Sheriff gave out ‘Star of SWALLOW’ awards to a number of staff members for commitment and dedication to supporting local people with learning disabilities.
