A Church in Peasedown St John is hosting several ‘Fun Times’ events for families during the Summer school holidays.

St John’s Church, which already runs a wide variety of activities for children throughout the week, has organised ‘Fun Times’ on several occasions before and it’s already become extremely popular.

Church Operations Manager and Children’s Pastor, Rob Bubyer, said, “The key purpose behind the creation of our Fun Times events in each school holiday is to provide a low-cost affordable event for families in Peasedown. It’s great entertainment for youngsters, with a big obstacle course for primary aged children and a smaller bouncy castle for toddlers.”

“Fun Times also includes a pop-up cafe selling cakes and fresh coffee, plus some craft activities too.”

Run by a team of Church volunteers, two play days will be held on Friday 18th August and Wednesday 30th August.

Each session will run from 10am – 12 noon at St John’s Church in Church Road.

The event is for under 11s. Families are asked to pay a small fee of £2 per child, which is payable on arrival. There’s no need to book, just turn up at 10am. St John’s Church is located in Church Road, Peasedown St John, BA2 8AA.
