There are just days to go until Peasedown St John’s biggest annual event – the 13th Party in the Park community festival.

Sponsored by St John’s Church, Curo, Truespeed, Bluebird Care, Bath Audi and Mercedes-Benz, almost 3,000 people are expected to come along to enjoy seven-and-a-half hour of live music and entertainment.

The festival is organised by local charity, the Peasedown Community Trust.

The event includes a huge array of stalls and attractions, a dog show, hot food, community stalls and the return of the Peasedown Diamond cider.

Tim Rowland-Jones, Director of Bluebird Care in B&NES, said: “The event organisers have been working very hard to ensure this year’s Party in the Park is the best yet with even more attractions, performers and special guests. Bluebird Care is always pleased to support events that make a positive impact in the community, which is why we are delighted to be one of the Party in the Park official sponsors.”

Main stage performances include: Original Barn Finds; Peasedown St John Primary School Children; Kerosene Grace; Lille Rode; Late Notice; Trash Casino; Drew Neirin and the Star Shaped Pegs; and Skimpi and the Trinity Band.

The stage and entertainment line-up this year is being managed by Reaper Events and Radio Bath.

Party in the Park Festival Managers, Cllr Gavin Heathcote and Cllr Karen Walker (Independents), commented: “We are hoping to top the last 12 festivals and put on a show never seen before in Peasedown St John.

“The team has worked exceptionally hard this year. We have almost 60 attractions, more than 20 safety personnel signed-up to make sure things run smoothly, and have raised £3,000 in sponsorship, which contributes towards the £7,000 event costs we need to host the event. The six members of the management team have contributed more than 300 hours of volunteer time to ensure Peasedown’s Party in the Park lives up to its already positive reputation.”

Stalls and attractions include:

Zoe Edward’s Burger and Donuts; Royal Sweet Stall; The Red Post Inn Bar; Dan’s Ice Creams; Royal British Legion; Truespeed Campervan; Chinese Street Food; Mercedes Coffee Van; Somer Valley Butchers, Horse Box Gin and Prosecco; Wiltshire Air Ambulance; Bath Cats & Dogs; Avon Fire & Rescue; Vegan Dog Treats; Flower Stall; Fabric Love Bath; Ted’s Plants; Appleton Nutrition; Montania Handmade Design and much, much more!

Peasedown Party in the Park officially starts at 11.30am on Saturday 10th June on Beacon Field - with festivities running until 7 pm.
