Last week’s Mystery Photograph proved a little harder, with only a few of you guessing Chewton Mendip correctly. Thank you for every one who took the time to guess where it was taken.
Well done to the following for guessing Chewton Mendip correctly: Roy Barnes and Val Rogers.
Thank you to Eric Brain for saying: “I have studied this week’s picture long and hard - and I think it is of A39 at Chewton Mendip.
“The stone pillar on the left is the school boundary, the pub is the Waldegrave and the building in the foreground was demolished to widen the bend and is where the filling station used to be.
“The pram at the back is at the junction with the Litton Road.”
Do you know where we are in this week’s Mystery Photograph? Perhaps you know the people in the photograph.
