Over one hundred voices from two popular local community choirs South Gloucestershire and Keynsham Good Afternoon Choirs will join together for a concert at Holy Trinity Church, Kingswood on Saturday evening October 21 starting at 7.30pm (doors open 7.00pm).
The Good Afternoon Choirs were started by Bath-based Music Man Grenville Jones fourteen years ago and there are now twenty four across the South West of England with over nine hundred members ‘Singing in the Afternoon’.
The South Gloucestershire Good Afternoon Choir meet every Wednesday afternoon from 2pm-4pm at Kingswood Community Centre (Great Hall). The l eader is Matt Finch.
Keynsham Good Afternoon Choir also meet every Wednesday afternoon from 2pm-4pm at Keynsham Methodist Church (Victoria Centre).
The choir is led by Good Afternoon Choir Founder Grenville Jones.
There are no auditions to join a Good Afternoon Choir and everyone is welcome for a taster session free of charge, previous singing experience is not required. Matt / Grenville and the members of the choir will be pleased to meet you.

The concert will support two local charities: Dement ia UK and Bath Mind.
