Valley Arts is offering a plethora of exciting events over the next few months.

First up is an imaginative outdoor production of Shakespeare's classic love story, Romeo and Juliet from Illyria Theatre completes the Midsummer Magic Season on Tuesday, August 20, at 7pm.

Set against the picturesque backdrop of Yeo Valley Organic Garden, this performance promises to captivate audiences with its tale of passion, fate, and family feuds.

Kicking off the autumn festivities, Harvest Home Hoedown is on Saturday, September 7, in the Harvest Home Marquee, in the field opposite Chew Valley School. This lively event will feature music, dancing, and delicious seasonal treats. Tickets include a light supper, and there will be a fully stocked bar to quench your thirst.

Edinburgh Fringe award winner Michael Burdett performs Before Fame on Saturday, September 21, at 8pm at The Old School Room in Chew Magna. This is the extraordinary untold backstory of George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley by the man who discovered them when they were part of an unknown ska band rehearsing in a village hall.

Celebrating local music talent from the Open Mic Night, Valley Arts Showcase is on Saturday 5th October. Enjoy an intimate evening of performances, featuring a diverse range of musical genres and styles.
