THE Community Farm in the Chew Valley is inviting people of all ages to engage in organic farming and wildlife conservation activities at its 15-acre site.

The not-for-profit organisation supplies fresh, organic food to local households. Founded in 2011, the farm collaborates with producers and offers wellbeing courses, social events, and volunteering sessions, benefiting more than 1,500 people annually.

The farm's Community Farmer Days are held on Saturdays during the growing season and end in November. The next event is on July 20. People are invited to engage in planting, weeding, and harvesting organic crops, while enjoying the wildlife around Chew Valley Lake.

The events are free and open to all. Last year, participants planted leeks, onions, and shallots, and harvested squash, apples, tomatoes, cucumbers, and beans.
