Blagdon Firefighter Luke Groves took on the ‘10 y Fan’ challenge - a gruelling challenge to climb the Pen y Fan mountain ten times in just 24-hours.

Through difficult conditions, Luke achieved an incredible nine climbs, raising funds for The Fire Fighters Charity with his epic 24-hour feat on May 11.

Luke said: “This was a really tough experience, but I’m pleased to say that I managed nine climbs, totalling 7,974 meters, and with a decent distance of over 35 miles.

“I really appreciate all the support and any donations big or small will go towards supporting the vital work of such an important charity that so many of us have benefitted from.”
