New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to eight of Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to five restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Cafe Dos Amigos at 21 Eastover, Bridgwater; rated on August 4

• Rated 5: Pontins Brean Sands Holiday Park at Pontins, South Road, Brean Burnham On Sea; rated on August 3

• Rated 5: The Village Cafe & Bakery at Myrtle House, Bath Street, Cheddar; rated on July 28

• Rated 5: Coffee #1 at 29 Fore Street, Bridgwater; rated on July 24

• Rated 5: Nandos at Unit 4 Northgate Yard, Mount Street, Bridgwater; rated on July 24

Pubs, bars and nightclubs
