ADULT support and wellbeing event hosted by Bath & North East Somerset Council in Keynsham will take place on March 20.
The event has been created by the council who are inviting adults with support needs, their carers and families to discover the support available to them in the area.
Bath & North East Somerset Council’s Live Well B&NES event is an opportunity for residents to meet groups, organisations and support services offering health, support and wellbeing services.
Cabinet member for Adult Services, Councillor Alison Born, said: “This event is a great opportunity for adults with support needs to drop in for a chat with representatives from local groups who can help you. It’s also important that residents who do an amazing job every day looking after their relatives or friends know where they could go for advice and support, so I’d encourage families and carers to come along too.”
Curo are due to attend, as well as Avon Fire and Rescue, Community at 67, The Carers’ Centre, BEMSCA, Community Wellbeing Hub, Bath Mind, Macmillan Cancer Support and Alzheimer’s Society.
Hosted at 1st Keynsham Scouts HQ at Ashton Way. 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Wednesday, March 20.
Refreshments including tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
No booking is not required.
