The Frome Christmas Get-Together will once again be providing food, entertainment and company to those who need it on Christmas Day.
Volunteers will be on hand to give those attending a warm welcome along with crackers, a small present and fun activities to take part in as a community.
The Frome Christmas Get-Together provides community members, young and old, with a chance to enjoy the festivities.
On their website, the organisers say, “With Christmas being a difficult time for so many, we have helped bring some festive cheer, needed company and great food to our town.”
Three in-person events will be happening on Christmas Day, with locations at St Catharines Parish Hall, Frome Cricket Club and The Frome Key Centre from 10:30am until 12:30pm. At the events, light refreshments will be served. Ready meals and bags of festive food will be given out to attendees as they leave.
The Frome Christmas Get-Together are eager to focus on community togetherness, with games, carol singing and presents for all guests being the main reason behind the in-person arrangements. Home deliveries for Christmas ready meals are also an option. Guests will need to book their place or register for the home deliveries if they want to be involved.
The team say, “We hope our Christmas Get-Together event this year will help make Christmas a special day for many”.
The event is funded by donations and is free for guests to attend. For more information, contact:
