New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five of Bath and North East Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to two restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Riverview Cafe at Buro Happold Camden Mill, 230 Lower Bristol Road, Westmoreland, Bath; rated on June 13

• Rated 5: Rooted Vegetarian Cafe at 20 Newbridge Road, Newbridge, Bath; rated on June 11

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And three ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: Saracens Head at Saracen'S Head, 42 Broad Street, City Centre, Bath; rated on June 13

• Rated 5: Slug And Lettuce at 5 - 6 Edgar Buildings, City Centre, Bath; rated on June 11

• Rated 5: The Old Crown at Old Crown Inn, 131 High Street, Twerton, Bath; rated on June 6
