New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven of Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to two restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Cullens Catering at Vivary Golf Club at Vivary Park Golf Course, Vivary Park, Upper High Street, Taunton; rated on October 25

• Rated 5: The Coffee Cabin (Taunton) Ltd at Taunton Deane Crematorium, Unit 2 Wellington New Road, Bishops Hull, Taunton; rated on October 25

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And five ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: Rose Inn at 55 Hamilton Road, Taunton, Somerset; rated on October 24

• Rated 5: The Bridge Inn at 20 Bridge Street, Dulverton, Somerset; rated on October 20

• Rated 5: The Stags Head Inn at 10 West Street, Dunster, Somerset; rated on October 19

• Rated 5: Shepherds Rest at The Shepherds Rest, 64 Galmington Road, Taunton, Somerset; rated on October 18

• Rated 5: The Ship Inn at Toll Road, Porlock, Somerset; rated on October 9
