New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Somerset’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Chopstix, at M5 Motorway Service Area Northbound, Strowlands Lane, Edingworth was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 10.

And The Oakhouse, at The Square, Axbridge was also given a score of five on September 4.

It means that of Somerset's 1,009 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 842 (83%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
