New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of North Somerset’s pubs, bars or nightclubs, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

• Rated 5: Popworld & Zinc at 9 Richmond Street, Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset; rated on September 26
• Rated 5: Route 69 at 135 High Street, Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset; rated on September 26
• Rated 5: Vaults (The) at 1 South Parade, Weston-Super-Mare; rated on September 26
It means that of North Somerset's 205 similar establishments with ratings, 141 (69%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
