We know it’s a challenging time for everyone at the moment as the coronavirus pandemic continues with supply issues in retailers.

In the UK, more than 14 million people are living in poverty – including 4.5 million children.

As a nation we expect no one should be left hungry or destitute – illness,

disability, family breakdown or the loss of a job could happen to any of us.

We are asking you to make a difference and donate an item, or items, in your local Tesco shop into the food bank basket which is located in all our stores.

The local Somer Valley Food bank have asked to especially think about Christmas and how we try to get back to normality, but this is when we would require your support and possibly donate some items that may have been over purchased during your visit to Tesco and donate to the food bank this Christmas.
