For the next meeting on Monday, 11th April, as something of a change, the club will welcome back old friends, the popular Mr and Mrs Lewis who will present a collection of music, prose and poetry including songs by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Flanagan and Allen and Noel Coward which will bring back memories of the 1960s and 1970s. The presentation will end with a series of Royal Navy medleys and other popular sing along tunes. This is an event not to be missed as it will provide an opportunity to lessen the current gloom and enable members to recall better times.
The next group coffee morning on Monday, 25th April commencing as usual at 10 am will include the u3a Annual General Meeting (AGM). The AGM, which it is expected that all members will attend, will commence at 11 am, during which members will receive reports from officers on the group activities. The treasurer will present the group accounts and everyone will have the opportunity to be part of the decisions in how the group continues to re-establish itself in 2022.
