Following a busy Christmas season with concerts that raised £1500 for a Romanian Charity and a retiring collection at St John’s Church Timsbury, comes news that the choir’s “20 Mendip Men Needed” campaign in conjunction with Prostate Cancer UK eventually raised a total of £4659.

Prostate Cancer UK aims to save and enrich the lives of men with a cancer which effects around 1 in 8 men. Most of the eighteen new members from the campaign have rejoined rehearsals held every Monday at 19.30-21.30pm at St Mary’s School Timsbury for what is expected to be another busy spring/summer season with five concerts currently planned.
