Police have launched an appeal after a motorcyclist was left with serious injuries following a collision near Long Ashton park and ride.

Avon and Somerset Police urges witnesses or those with dashcam footage of the incident, which happened on the B3128 on Friday (June 28), to come forward.

Police said in a statement: “We were called to a report of a collision involving a dark blue food delivery motorbike and a white van advertising a landscaping company.

“The rider of the motorbike suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries, and remains in hospital. The van driver was uninjured.”
