Last month's mystery photo shows the construction of what is now a busy stretch of road. Taken in the early 1950s, it shows Herriott's Bridge, on the A368, now a popular stopping place for bird watchers and those looking for an ice cream, The name comes from the demolished Herriott's Mill which was just on the right, travelling east. The old mill pond now forms part of Chew Valley Lake.
