Drivers in and around North Somerset will have eight National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that eight closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

M5, from 8pm March 31 to 6am April 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 19 including slip roads, lane closure for signs maintenance.

A4, from 9pm March 31 to 6am April 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 19 entry slip closed for barrier works, diversion via M5 north, junction 18, St. Brendans roundabout and M5 south.

M5, from 9pm April 1 to 6am April 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 21 to 20, lane closures for electrical works.

M5, from 9pm April 2 to 6am April 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 21, lane closure for signs maintenance.

M5, from 8pm April 3 to 6am April 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 21 to junction 22 - lane closures for emergency barrier repairs.

M5, from 9pm April 3 to 6am April 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 21, lane closure for signs maintenance.

M5, from 9pm April 3 to 6am April 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 20 to 19, lane closure for signage.

M5, from 9am to 4pm on April 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 19 - hard shoulder for electrical works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
