Drivers in and around North Somerset will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And three of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• M5, from 8pm November 4 to 6am November 5, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 entry Slip closure for barrier repair, diversion M5 southbound to junction 20 and return.
• M5, from 8pm November 6 to 5am November 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 21 to junction 22, lane closure for barriers works.
• M5, from 8pm November 13 to 6am November 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 20 entry slip closed for structure inspections, diversion via M5, junction 21 and return.
• M5, from 8pm November 15 to 6am November 16, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 20 entry slip road - carriageway closure barrier repairs, diversion via M5 southbound, exit, junction 21, turn and re-join M5 northbound.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
