On Saturday, August 10, membership chair and past president of the Rotary Club of Midsomer Norton and Radstock, Ian Huxham, looked back to his Zimbabwe origins and co-hosted a South African themed party for club members. 

The main focus of the party was a braai, South Africa’s answer to a barbecue, which included braai boerewors rolls (sausages) and many other delicacies.

The evening culminated with past president Kevin Chard being appointed a Paul Harris Fellow Award. An enjoyable end to the evening was had, accompanied by chit-chat around the open fire.
