A 17-year-old boy has been charged with the murders of Mason Rist and Max Dixon.
The teenager, who legally cannot be identified because he is a juvenile, is the sixth person to be charged and remanded into custody in relation to the deaths of 15-year-old Mason and 16-year-old Max in Knowle West on Saturday 27 January.
Mason and Max’s families have both been notified of the Crown Prosecution Service’s decision to authorise charges against the 17-year-old. He appeared before magistrates in Bristol on Monday 5th February.
Three other people remain in custody at this time in relation to Max and Mason’s deaths: a 14-year-old boy who was arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday, plus a 14-year-old girl and 49-year-old woman who were both arrested this morning (Sunday 4 February) on suspicion of assisting an offender.
